Visit Heikkilä
Heikkilä Local History Museum and its verdant garden are a strak contrast to the urban hustle and bustle of Kerava town centre and a reminder of the slow and self-sufficient lifestyle of the past centuries. The admission for the museum is free.

Arrival and accessibility
The museum is located about 800 meters from the Kerava train station. From Kerava city center, the easiest way to get to the museum is by bike or on foot. The nearest parking spaces can be found at Kerava train station or at Sinkka’s parking area.
Unfortunately, there are no accessible entrances to the museum buildings. The high thresholds and stairs in the buildings can cause difficulties for people with reduced mobility.
The museum area’s main pathways are accessible with a wheelchair.

You can check public transport schedules and routes via HSL Journey planner.
